Coach Lynn Wood was a championship tennis coach at Corinth High for over four decades. He is a native of Lexington, TN, who earned college degrees at Bethel College and Middle Tennessee State. His 41-year coaching career was spent mainly at Corinth with early stints at Southside Jr. High in Jacksonville, FL, and Ramer High in Selmer, TN. He coached the Corinth Warrior netters to 384 wins and only 154 losses out of 538 matches. Between 1981 and 2006, he led Corinth to 4 district crowns, 11 division titles, and an incredible 11 Class 3A State Championships. He was named Coach of the Year by the MAC on 3 occasions and twice selected as Wilson NHSACA Region 5 Coach of the Year. Lynn served as North All-Star tennis coach in 1999 and has been active in tennis affairs with the MAC and helped organize the All-Star tennis tournament. He also served as Youth Director of First Baptist Church in Corinth.
